Where our approach is a little different is the way we go about screening candidates. They come into one of our offices, fill out a paper application and sit down with us one-on-one. We get to know people that way, and when we look them in the eye, there’s a better chance they’ll be straight with us about what they want. That means less chance of them taking a job that’s not really what they had in mind. It reduces turnover and the chance of placing someone who’s not the right fit. There’s no point bringing in someone who looks great on paper if they won’t be happy at your company and have one foot out the door to their next job from day one!
